Utah Olympic Park

The 2002 Winter Olympics were held in Park City and the facilities are now used as a training center for current athletes.
The Utah Olympic Park is just minutes from our hotel and was our first stop.
Inside there was a museum with time lines and memorablia from the 2002 games.
The pool is used as a training spot for the ski jumpers since they don't have snow in the summer time.  We were able to catch some jumpers in action!

As they land in the pool, the pool fills with bubbles to help break their fall.
Here is the actual spot used by the ski jumpers in the Olympic Games.
We bought the girls wristbands to do unlimited zip lining and alpine sliding while at the park.
It was a little too high for me, but they loved every minute of it and went up the chair lift and down the zip line several times!

In between zip line runs, they also took the big chair lift up to the alpine slide.  Taylor accused Allison of going way to slow the first time, but they did it again and had a lot more fun.
