The Schreck's backyard has become our new annual 4th of July hangout...lots of swimming, fun games, food galore and fireworks to end the night.
The 100 degree heat and humidity made for a crowded pool while others cooled off under the umbrellas and EZ Ups.
The Grillmaster, with his White Elephant gift being put to good use!
There were lots of Cannonballs...
plenty of time for the girls to catch up after a few weeks apart...
Rock Band competitions...
and many hard-fought Fuse Ball battles!

After several hours in the pool and hot tub, only taking breaks to get snacks and drinks, the kids all got changed into cozy clothes for the fireworks show. Unfortunately, my camera died right as we were leaving but we walked to the open field behind Home Depot to catch the traditional fireworks set off from the sports park. They weren't as good as I remember from years past, but it was a nice way to finish off the day's festivities.
