Day #5 in Paradise

I think we all agreed that there isn't a better way to spend the day than finding a spot for the day at Kapalua Beach and then getting cleaned up for a night in Lahaina, so we decided to do it again today.Allison became quite the snorkeler this trip. She just returned from a long trip out with Matt and Hank covering much of the Kapalua Bay. Hank took Allison and Reanna on a little walk and somehow ended up in the Ritz Carlton pool! They played it cool and had a blast in the gorgeous pool while Hank snapped some photos as proof...only with Hank! Back on the beach, we heard a snorkeler come in from the water saying he just swam with a turtle. Leslie and the girls quickly headed out to a lookout point and spotted it right away. Matt, Hank, the big girls and I hurried to get our snorkel gear on and were able to see it in the water. Unfortunately, a crowd was surrounding it (some even trying to touch it) so we got out of the water to give him some space. Matt even had to yell at a few kids who were trying to pull on it. Guess they didn't know touching a turtle can result in a $4000 fine! Taylor and Lauren got within a few feet of the turtle as it rode the waves into the shallow rocks.

For dinner, we were back in Lahaina...this time eating at Allison's choice of Cheeseburger in Paradise. Allison was also thrilled to find Rocky, the 3 legged dog we first met here in 2008. He is still begging for food, but now begs for shaved ice instead of cheeseburgers!
We were disappointed with the food, but the girls loved their strawberry and pineapple smoothies!
After dinner, Poppy watched the girls so we could go with Hank and Leslie to meet with a timeshare resale representative. It was a little depressing to see how cheap they now are, knowing what we paid 10 years ago, but hope we can cash in on a good deal soon like Hank and Leslie were able to do!
