After months of driving with me, 3 behind-the-wheel instructions and much anticipation, Taylor is a licensed driver!
She passed her test this morning at the Hemet DMV!
She now has her own set of keys and this blue "Snow Globe" as the girls call it. She drove herself to soccer practice today and will start driving herself to school in the morning.
Such mixed emotions entering this new chapter…my taxi service duties are dwindling, but I'll miss our time in the car together. We shared so many great discussions on the drives to school and soccer. I'm excited that she can grab milk at the store or pick up Allison once in a while, but I'll have that added knot in my stomach as I pray for her safety out on the road.
Can't time stop NOW???
