College Tour Day #1

Since Taylor is starting to attend College Showcases and ID Camps, we thought it was important to start exposing to some colleges she has looked into online.  If she wants to play college soccer, the process starts now and will take a lot of work on her part.  We thought touring some schools on our way to Danville would help her decide if its a path she is really interested in.
We started along the 101 at UCSB.
The ocean is literally right across the street from the campus!
We loved the quad area and spaciousness of the campus
and Taylor loved that the had "bike freeways" all over!
The Rec Center and practice fields were very nice,
 soccer is really big here
and the game day field was beautiful!
We had a nice lunch in Isla Vista and walked around the neighborhood with all of the fraternity/sorority houses.  This campus is going to be tough to beat!
We continued up the coast with stops at Pismo Beach

and a really cute dog beach in Avila Beach.  Kaia loved it!
Our next stop was Cal Poly SLO.  Taylor didn't love the campus as much,
but the soccer fields were nice and
the new Rec Center was amazing!

What we loved most about this area was downtown SLO.  We had a great dinner at Woodstock's Pizza and left our mark on the gum wall!
