Independence Day

Our 4th of July tradition continued with a day at Charlie and Mary's.  Charlie sported this lovely Walmart special honoring Independence Day!

 We spent much of the day playing games,

 eating delicious tri-tip sandwiches, lots of sides and amazing desserts,

 and swimming in the pool.

We tried something new though this year...a Cornhole tournament, otherwise known as Bean Bag Toss!  Each team of two had a $5 buy in and Tyan put together this tournament board.  There were some very creative names..."Me So Corny", "Corn Direction", "Betsy Toss", and "Corn Nuts" to name a few.

Allison and PJ were the "Girls with Style" and actually made it past the first round.

 However, Matt and I could not be stopped and "Ring of Fire" took home the $70 top prize!  We finished the night watching the Sports Park fireworks with everyone before heading home.
