Heather was sweet enough to organize a "Welcome Back" lunch to get all of the kids together before school starts on Wednesday. We intended on getting together throughout the summer, but it happened less often than anticipated and it was actually my first time seeing Heather, Amanda and their kids. We all lunched on pizza and salad and then the kids spent most of the time in the arcade, leaving Teri, Wendy, Chessa, Amanda, Heather and me time to catch up on summer happenings. We talked about high school and middle school registration and our anxiety about finding out our elementary teachers on Monday night. We need to make a point of doing this more often when the kids are in school!
