Well the dreaded day is here, but actually our house was full of excitement. Taylor was up early, painting her nails and curling her hair. I think she got all of the nerves out at orientation yesterday so she was nothing but excited. Allison was up early too, getting her hair done, eating an early breakfast and helping pack both lunches.Teresa came over for her traditional "1st day blessing" and we took the traditional photos on the porch.
Taylor picked out this cute outfit at American Eagle a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to wear it! Middle school drop off was a little hectic so we found a good spot to drop her off and watch her cross at the crosswalk. No more walking her in :( She can't wait to meet Madison after school and walk together down to the Hot Dog Shoppe. I think this will be a good spot to pick her up. I know she will be eager to share all of the stories from her 1st day!
