Well, there is no turning back now...I officially have a middle schooler. We were in line at 7:30 this morning for 6th grade registration. The MPR was set up with stations to get her class schedule, order PE uniforms, buy a yearbook, take an ID and yearbook photo and pick up textbooks.
She is excited to have Art as her 1st elective and we have been told she got the easy Science teacher. We're both a little nervous about her being placed in 7th grade Pre-Algebra, but I am confident she can handle it. Sad to say we are both most worried about PE...she got the teacher everyone said to avoid. Apparently, he likes to make kids cry. Really? Hoping for the best.
Taylor can't wait to call her friends this afternoon and compare schedules. Orientation is next Tuesday which should be a fun way for her to get acquainted with the school and see many of her friends for the 1st time since June. My little girl is growing up!!
