Today was the wedding of my cousin Thomas and his beautiful bride Becca in Calamus, IA.
Becca looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her dad.
We all loved her dress! All of her bridesmaids wore black dresses and each of them had different colored Converse that Becca gave as gifts. She even wore ruby red glittered ones! The pastor gave a very personal message and the exchanging of vows and rings was really sweet!
My Grandpa Barnes died in 1979 and there was special memorial set up for him in the church.
Becca is a big Iowa State fan and had this awesome bus take the wedding party from the ceremony to the reception.
I seemed to be the photographer much of the day, but at least got one pic of us at the church.
Chris, Aimee, Zach and Merritt
Uncle Brian, Aunt Kathy, Keri and Lucas
Uncle Pat, Aunt Joyce and Anna
My mom with my Uncle Bill
We've had a fun few days with Grandma and Papa.
Then it was on to Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, IA for the reception. It is the home to the River Bandits and sits right on the Mississippi.
We had an hour of cocktails and appetizers while sitting in the stands and taking in the view.

Handsome Jake
Hungry Aidan
I love these girls to pieces and they had so much fun watching the little kids and being around so much family.
During the cocktail hour, the bridal party took some fun photos on the field.
Drew looked so cute in his little suit!
My cousin Alan with his wife Brooke and son, Cooper
Ryan, Bridget, Angela, Julie and Julie's husband Chris
We managed to get 15 of the 17 cousins all together for a photo on the dance floor. We were sorry Brandon couldn't be there from Colorado and Daniel didn't get there until later in the evening.
The beautiful couple!
My very proud Aunt Sheri and Uncle Greg, parents of the groom.
I was the flower girl in their wedding over 30 years ago!

Taylor even managed to sneak in more time with Avery
What has become tradition at any Barnes wedding...the "Taking Care of Business" dance!
Allison remembered doing it at Melissa and Engelbert's wedding and then again at my brother's and couldn't wait to do it again.
The 1st cousin with the 17th cousin, oldest and youngest!
We had such a wonderful few days with all of the Barnes family and I loved reliving childhood memories in Iowa. We just wish we could see everyone more often and are trying to convince them we need to do a family reunion in San Diego!
