We parked our car, boarded the tram and spent a few hours in this magnificent setting.
We got a snack and filled up our Camelbacks at the Zion Lodge before beginning our hikes.
We started on the Emerald Pools Trail.
The trail ended at the pools with streaming waterfalls and and great photo opportunities.
We got back on the tram and went to the last stop, Riverside Walk, to do one more hike before getting back in the car.
This was a perfectly shaded hike along the river, which was well-timed since it was starting to warm up.
This tarantula didn't stop us from continuing along the path, but did create a lot of screaming among fellow hikers!
The girls climbed anything and everything that came along the way.
We stopped just shy of The Narrows since we didn't have water shoes or anything to change into after crossing the river, but hope we can return someday to tackle this tough hike.
We took in as much scenery and did as much hiking as we could fit into our morning and truly loved Zion. It would be such an awesome place to stay, ride bikes around the park and explore all that is has to offer, but I think we packed a lot into our 4 hours!
