I sure was a proud parent this morning. Taylor was honored for making Honor Roll again this trimester. But that wasn't all. She was then honored for making Honor Roll all 3 trimesters of 4th grade and was called up again for having a perfect report card (all 5's) for the entire year. Quite a feat! She loves learning, loves Mrs. Atkinson and loves challenging herself with her schoolwork. Mrs. Atkinson wrote: Taylor consistently strives to do her best. Her work ethic, in every aspect of our curriculum, is something I admire and appreciate. I am so proud of Taylor and I am looking forward to seeing her continue to challenge herself and grow next year. Way to go Taylor! You continue to amaze us with your talents!!
Our family went 2 for 2 with great report cards today. Allison was thrilled to see so many (+)'s on her report card and Mrs. Skinner wrote some very nice comments as well. It's been such a joy having Allison in my class! Her spunky personality and enthusiasm for school has made it a true pleasure being her teacher. I'm pleased with the progress she's made in all areas, especially reading and writing. She's beginning to read with fluency and has learned comprehension strategies to help her understand the stories she's able to read. Way to go Allison! Her writing reflects her ability to use details and descriptive language on a consistent basis. Please continue to have Allison read over the summer to maintain her progress. Have a wonderful summer and terrific 2nd grade!
