Wacky Olympics seems to be a thing of the past, so 1st grade created their own Field Day for an end of the year activity. All 130 1st graders marched down to Morgan Hill Park for a fun afternoon of activities. Each class spent 10 minutes at each station, then waited for the whistle to rotate.
1st Station- free play at the playground
2nd Station- water relay races
3rd Station- Parachute
4th Station- hula hoops and jump ropes
The 5th Station was sack races, but I was busy getting ice cream and didn't get a picture:(
We finished our day with ice cream cups and a walk back up the hill. It was the last full day of school, but there is plenty of activity left with an Ira Sleeps Over pajama party, yearbook signing and Game Day.
