This morning, we were up early and drove to the Farmer's Market in Kona. We shopped for trinkets and sampled some Hawaiian fruits Taylor had been hoping to taste...lychee and lilikoi...both delicious!
We walked a little on Ali'i Drive and the girls got Acai bowls before driving to a beach to snorkel for the day.
Kahalu'u Beach Park isn't necessarily the nicest beach, but it has amazing snorkeling. Luckily, we were able to get a picnic table for all of our stuff and places to sit.
The snorkeling was so pretty here and would have been even better if it was a sunnier day. This part of the island is a littler hazier than normal with the active volcano changing the weather up a bit.
We spent a lot of time in the water today and saw so many cool coral reef formation and multiple species of fish!
Allison and Nana
Several of us took turns getting some rest in Nana's hammock and just loved hanging out today.
We did a quick wardrobe change at the beach and went out to dinner at On The Rocks in Kona. It was a waterfront restaurant with great food!
I loved my fancy drink and Korean Beef Tacos with Yakisoba!
Another great day in paradise!
