We left San Diego early this morning for our week vacation on the Big Island!
We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in Waikoloa Village and were so excited to bring Jenna along with us! Wild turkeys roamed the property
and we enjoyed sipping coffee each morning with this golf course view!
After loading up at Costco and checking in to the room, we ventured out for the evening. We first stopped at Manini'owali Bay along the Kona Coast.
Beautiful white sand and turquoise water!
The girls did some quick photo shoots before heading into Kona.
I loved this little town right along the waterfront. It reminded me a lot of Lahaina in Maui.
We did a little shopping and visited the famous Donkey Balls shop (chocolate covered macadamia nuts).
No one was really hungry for dinner and it was pretty warm and humid, so shave ice was the perfect option!
Looking forward to a fun week exploring this island...
