Taylor and I did a quick road trip to Danville to see Grandma and Papa (can't believe I didn't get any pics!) before she heads back to Kansas. We had planned a longer visit for the end of July, but she was offered a 9-day babysitting job to put some money in her account before school.
We watched a lot of World Cup soccer, enjoyed a few meals out and did plenty of catching up.
We also got time to visit with Scott, Elizabeth and Jack and Sarah and Brooklyn. They all stopped in at the same time so it was fun to see the kids play together and hear the latest updates.
On Monday, we took BART into the city for a little bit of touring.
We walked to the ferry building for a quick lunch with Taylor (Andrew's sister) and then walked to Union Square and hung out in Delores Park.
We took an Uber to the Marina District and walked the shops on Chestnut Street before taking BART back to Lafayette to meet my parents for dinner.
It was a quick trip, but nice to see everyone!
