Today we celebrated Allison and her TTES Class of 2013!
Allison, Faith and Lorien
Each class sat together and sang sweet songs in between the awards presentations. Mr. McTasney got emotional as he said goodbye to the first class he has been with since kindergarten and wished them well as they continue on to middle school.
Allison earned the Presidential Education Award for making Honor Roll in both 4th and 5th grade!
We are so proud of her hard work and are happy that she achieved her goal!
Then each teacher presented one student from their class with the TrailBlazer of the Year Award. We were beyond thrilled to learn that Mrs. McBride chose Allison!!
This is what she shared about her at the ceremony:
In the game of soccer if one is to play successfully, one must practice, practice, practice! One must also have perseverance, determination, control, a strategy and winning attitude to reach their ultimate goal...THE GOAL. Our trailblazer goes to a student who not only plays hard on the soccer field, but she brings her "game on" every day when she enters the classroom. Every day she practices and she practices and she practices until she gets it. She possesses perseverance, determination, self-control and always an "I can do" attitude. Never a quitter! She will do whatever it takes to reach her "GOAL." It is with much enthusiasm and pride that I award Miss Allison B. as Room 43's Trailblazer of the Year. CONGRATULATIONS!!
It was such a special moment and know that Allison did so many wonderful things at TTES, always with a smile on her face!
Then all of the students were called up again to be officially promoted to 6th grade!
We all celebrated with a reception inside the MPR, having refreshments, collecting pictures and posing with friends.
