Tonight, VRMS 8th graders were honored for their excellence in academics, PRIDE and athletics at an Invitation Only ceremony.
Taylor received 3 awards tonight. She was first called up for being a 3-semester member of CJSF and receiving all A's and completing all of her volunteer hours.
She was shocked to receive an Outstanding Student Award for Language Arts. Mrs. Rightmire nominated her and it was a very nice surprise.
Finally, she earned this plaque and special recognition for getting a 4.0 all 3 years of Middle School.
Only 41 students in her graduating class shared in this honor and it is quite an achievement.
We are so proud of Taylor and can't wait to see all of the great things she will do at Great Oak!!
