The 5th graders have been spending the last few months learning about the 13 colonies. One of their assignments was to cross stitch the 13 colonies with the provided supplies. It sounded easy enough, but we had no idea that it would take so many hours. I found Taylor sewing in front of the tv, riding in the car, in between soccer games or lying in bed. 
She is very happy with the way it turned out, but says it will be quite a while before she sews again!
