For the past 8 months, Matt has been attending the SLI (Supervisory Leadership Institute) in San Diego. He stays in a hotel Sun-Wed each time and has spent 192 hours in the classroom, read and analyzed 13 books, completed multiple projects and attended events at the Museum of Tolerance and NAS Miramar.
His class was made up of supervisors representing law enforcement agencies throughout California. Today was graduation day!
Receiving his diploma from the Chula Vista Chief of Police
Assistant Sheriff Mike Barnett came to support Matt as well.
There was a nice reception that followed and I was glad I could be there to support him. He works very hard and takes great pride in all he does! Congrats!
