After weeks of bracket play, a win in penalty kicks during the quarterfinals, and a win in the semifinals, Allison's team played for the SCDSL championship. We had hoped to start our Thanksgiving vacation yesterday but were happy to delay our departure for this final game.
The team played Irvine Slammers in a tough battle that was 0-0 through overtime. Unfortunately, Arsenal lost in PK's, but Coach Heidi made sure that the girls kept smiles on their faces for all they had accomplished.
The girls were presented with medals and a team trophy.
