Carson came home with us from school today, we picked up Matt at the station and then made our way to Corvette Diner in Point Loma for Allison's birthday dinner. We pigged out on milkshakes and burgers/BLTs and fries while playing with all of the straws that the server threw at us.
Allison chose this place for the Cotton Candy Cake that came with a giant candle! Even after all of the junk, we finished the whole thing!
The server also gave Allison and Carson special hairdos with straws.
They looked pretty goofy, but were loving their new style!
Then we headed to Sunset Cliffs to watch the sunset. The girls got quite a few stares!
It was a perfect sunset to end a fun birthday!
Carson spent the night and helped us get ready for the party today. They got the S'mores bar all ready
and hung up the cute banner Allison made last week.
We had a hot tub full of girls to swim, BBQ
and make s'mores by the fire pit.
Then they changed into comfy clothes and came inside to watch Big Hero 6.
Before the night was over, Allison opened her gifts. What creative friends! She got such sweet cards and wonderful treats. We especially loved this card from Reanna in the shape of an iPhone. You could lift each App and there was a picture or saying in the style of the App. So cute!
Allison has very nice friends and I think she really enjoyed her birthday weekend. Happy 13th!!
