My Mom flew in last night, the girls' schedules were typed out and our bags were packed for our Kauai getaway.
We made a quick stop at Peterson's donuts for a little breakfast before our flight out of SD.
As soon as we boarded the plane, the Hawaiian music started playing and we were instantly relaxed.
The flight to Honolulu was long, but smooth
and we enjoyed a few hour layover there…rainbow and all!
After a quick island hop over to Kauai, we took the shuttle to the rental car spot. They upgraded us from a Nissan Maxima to a Ford Mustang convertible just because. So fun!
We checked into the Pono Kai in Kapaa and instantly fell in love with our view. We had a 2nd floor ocean front room and this gorgeous view for the next week!
Loving Kauai already!
