Then we loaded up the girls' bikes and headed to Newport Beach for a fun day of bike riding along the beach. Matt and I rented bikes once we arrived
and we spent several hours cruising on the paths.
The houses were so cute right along the trail and the beaches were just spectacular!
We got an early enough start that it wasn't too crowded either.
We had a great lunch at a Mexican Restaurant near Balboa Island and biked a mile or two down the path for Balboa Bars. After 10 or so miles of biking, these were well-deserved and delicious!
The girls and I are so grateful for all Matt does as a husband and a father and we were happy to have a day to celebrate HIM!
