Tonight was our 4th Annual Hawks Ornament/Cookie Exchange hosted by the Schreck's. Each girl brought 18 of her favorite holiday treat and a wrapped, unlabeled ornament to exchange.
The girls were treated to pizza courtesy of the Johnson Family and popcorn and hot cocoa while they chatted (some louder than others) and watched Home Alone.
Several of the girls brought gifts to share for the team and coaches, as well.
The ornament exchange was fun as always...lots of cute soccer ornaments and several sparkly ones like a taxi cab, ice skate, hawaiian alligator and a cupcake.
Then we surprised the girls with red, black and white scarves that one of Mary's co-workers made for each of them. Love the expressions on their faces!
Maybe someday over the break, we can all meet to go ice skating and wear our scarves as a team! We are always up for a fun event to bring this great group of girls together, both on or off the field.
