New Red Wave Season

This group of school-spirited Juniors are excited for football season and all of the fun to be had in the RED WAVE section!  Let's go Wolfpack!

Another fun Girl's Night Out thanks to Poppy.  This time he got us tickets to Phillip Phillips and Gavin DeGraw.

 We had dinner and drinks at Kelsey's before the show and then great seats

 for 2 great performers!

Allison is a JUNIOR!

This girl is all set for her Junior year!  She is driving, excited to be WSB secretary, ready to play Varsity soccer and pleased with her teachers and schedule.

She has a great group of friends and so much school-spirit!  Have a GREAT OAK year Allison!

Bye-Bye Taylor

Taylor leaves tomorrow for her 2nd year at KU.  She needed one last beach day before heading back.

The water was so warm and we had a great day in our favorite spot.

 Taylor had a super early Monday am flight, was able to get a ride from the airport from her roommate Jacquelynn and settled in pretty quickly.  Look at the view this lucky girl will have from her room all year...the Chi Omega fountain and main campus on Jayhawk Blvd.

We are so grateful for Heidi and Dan Simon!  They let Taylor store her stuff at their house over the summer, let us have Target orders delivered to their house and delivered it all tonight to help her move in.  They even took her to dinner and give us such peace of mind and love our girl!

She is so ready for her Sophomore year and we can't wait to see her for Family Weekend in mid Sept...

Friday Night Food Trucks

Back down to San Diego tonight for the Friday Night Food Trucks.

Live music and every variety of food truck for a yummy dinner.  

Reanna got the grilled cheese meatball sandwich, Taylor got the Caprese sandwich and Leslie and I got street tacos.  Only bummer was no good dessert options...what's the point of gluten-free donuts??

Oh well, we stopped at Peterson's Donuts on the way home :)
